What is Interesting about N4-N6 Electrical Engineering- Instrument Technician?

Instrument Technicians or electricians or electrical technicians play an important role in our society. According to National Scarce Skills List, electrical engineers are listed as one of the top 10 skills shortage in South Africa. Instrument Technicians are in critical need in industries such as power or energy generation (Eskom), telecommunication, engineering, computing, construction, energy, manufacturing, transport and utilities companies and the armed forces.

Award

A student will qualify for a National N Diploma Engineering Studies Electrical Engineering on completion of a minimum of 12 subjects, ranging from N4 to N6, together with a minimum of two years in-service training.

The College assists students with in service training as part of the learner support programme
